Scott Pemberton O’ Theory at the Heartwood

The Heartwood in Sandpoint, Idaho

“A modern day Jimi Hendrix” – Chico Enterprise

Scott Pemberton’s sound is much like the vibe of his native Portland: freaky, fun and just the right amount of weird. The best way to categorize his music is with the moniker “Timber Rock”. Scott naturally applies his own lens/stamp to the sounds of the Pacific North West, the region he has always called home. The deep jazz, NW rock/grunge, blues roots and the west coast funk. It’s all there, and often all in the same song. Listeners are finding this honest, original and to-the-point music refreshing and fun. The mastery of his guitar playing combined with the fun recklessness of his songwriting show that the rules of songwriting and playing the guitar no longer exist for him. Scott plays with the uninhibited joy and intensity of someone who recognizes that every time we make music is an honor and a gift.

Doors and the Eichardt's bar opens at 7 with the music starting at 8.

Little Hurricane

The Heartwood in Sandpoint, Idaho

Unfortunately we have had to cancel this concert due to injuries Tone received from a motorcycle accident. While we hope to reschedule this event, all purchased tickets have been issued a refund.

You can click the link above to learn more about the fundraiser that will help the family through this difficult time.

Little Hurricane, based in San Diego, will put on one of the do not miss concerts in North Idaho this summer, make plans to bring the family and meet up with friends for this epic evening of music in the Heartwood!

More than a missed connection, the duo that is Little Hurricane originally met via a Craigslist ad. Celeste “CC” Spina had posted a YouTube video of her drumming in the “Musicians Wanted'' section after years of dreaming of touring. Her video caught the attention of Anthony “Tone” Catalano, an audio engineer and songwriter who has recorded everyone from Neil Young to Gwen Stefani.

Tone and CC immediately vibed and within months, quit their jobs to hit the road. Starting in small clubs and coffee shops, Little Hurricane gained a dedicated fan base that led them to festival stages and sold out shows across the world.

Their sound is unapologetically authentic, combining grungy blues rock riffs alongside smashing dynamic drums with love-laden lyrics. When experienced live, the connection between the two is impalpable and hard to ignore.

The pair are also now married with two kids, which has brought an interesting influence to their otherwise relatively mature sound. In their post-pandemic return to music, Little Hurricane has reimagined a myriad of classic nursery rhymes into their dirty blues style.
